Letter from the CEO

Dear Gila Regional Medical Center Patient:

Thank you for trusting us with your health care. Your trust is important to us.

We are all aware of the emerging public health concerns due to the coronavirus situation or COVID-19. As a newly identified respiratory virus that can spread easily, there is concern across the world. It shares several symptoms with influenza or a bad cold.

We understand you may be worried, even possibly frightened, about the new virus. Please know that the health and well-being of you and your family and our GRMC team is our top priority. Rest assured that Gila Regional is leading efforts in our County to address this public health concern. We are well-prepared to meet the needs of our patients and community, with dedicated staff, nurses, physicians and nurse practitioners. If you are scheduled for or need an appointment, hospital procedure or surgery, our hospital and clinics are safe, and we are available to serve your needs.

We’re proud of our team of talented professionals, well versed in emergency planning and to be prepared for a possible influx of patients.

Please review our website for reliable and trustworthy resources. Try not to be drawn into sources of communication that may be inaccurate.

Remember to take steps to keep yourself healthy: Wash your hands; avoid touching your face; and practice self-care, including staying home when you are sick.

Our mission is to care for you and your family members. At Gila Regional, we provide exceptional, quality, patient-centered care in our healing environment.

Thank you for choosing Gila Regional Medical Center for your health care.
